A Most Curious Adventure
Follow Alice as she falls down a rabbit hole into a strange world... “Down, down, down, would the fall never come to an end?”
Alice’s Wonderland is a colourful hands-on exhibition that brings basic science concepts to life for three to eight year olds and their families. Children are invited to explore the way they perceive and make sense of the world around them in this new, hands-on exhibition based on Lewis Carroll’s well-known Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.
Just as Alice’s curiosity led her to follow the white rabbit down the rabbit hole, children can let curiosity guide their way through a series of educational exhibits which introduce optics and illusions, word play, physics and maths.
Each activity will introduce a range of numeracy, literacy and science concepts in a delightful and playful way. It is a nationally travelling exhibition presented by Museums Victoria.
Exhibition admission is included with general Museum entry: Adults $12.50, Children $6.50 and Family (2 Adults and up to 4 Children) $32. Museum entry is free for residents of the Toowoomba Regional Council area with proof of residency.
Venue: Cobb + Co Museum, 27 Lindsay Street, East Toowoomba
