Really would like to join a forum where we can share conversation. The only adults I see in the course of a day are Day Care Staff where 2 of my 5 grandchildren attend kindy. So yes, caring for my grandchildren can be socially isolating. I live in Capalaba, Brisbane. Is there a group near me? Have lived here since July.

Hi Margo, Like you I am a grandparent bringing up my grandson he is nine years old and I have had him for 2years . I have been looking for a forum that I can chat to others like me and this is the first time I have found some thing .This site is not widely known ! It should be advertised at centrelink . I have a great family surport system but would love others my age and in my postion to chat to ! There must be more than you and me that want to chat . I work so can not always get out to go to a place to meet but I am online checking my emails. Well hopeto hear fromyou and others like us as well Regards Linda
